The H Gallery announces the 2009 Photography Grant Competition.  One grant winner will be awarded $1000.00 to further their work on a photographic project.  The winner will have a solo exhibition at The H Gallery in April 2010, based on the work submitted.  Texas artists working in any photographic process except video are eligible.

Applicants should submit 10 digital images (JPGS, 300 DPI, 1 side 6”) on a CD, along with an artist statement/proposal for the project, $25.00 for the entry fee (checks made out to The H Gallery), and a SASE for the return of materials.  Please number each image and include a corresponding image list with the title, medium, and size of the work, as well as your contact information (name, phone #, and e-mail address).  We strongly encourage artists to submit works in progress, as our goal is to help an emerging artist complete and exhibit a photographic project.
